Australia: Palestinian protesters attempt to storm US consulate in Sydney

SYDNEY, Oct 15 (AFP) - Palestinian anger spilled onto the streets of Sydney Sunday as a group of some 20 men broke from a 2,500-strong crowd of protesters and tried to storm the US consulate here.

Palestinian supporters march on US embassy in NSW

About 2,000 Palestinian supporters marched on the United States Consulate in Sydney today, to protest against the latest violence in the disputed territories.

In a heated but non-violent demonstration, protesters burned Israeli flags and football jerseys.
