At school, I always get a pretzel with a can of pop for a snack. There's a guy that works in behind the counter that I always considered to be quite a jerk. Well, one day I went in there, got my order, noticed it was cheaper than usual and called him on it. "You forgot my drink," I told him. "Yeah?" he said. I just stood there with a stupid look on my face and a dollar hanging out of my hand. "Be happy," he smiled. "Shhh." It was unexpected and nice. Maybe he's not the jerk I thought he was.
