Just hearing train crash o/s Stevenage 5 reported dead ..

I heard it as well....nowhere near me or my line thankfully, dreadful again that people have died but isn't it a shame that the train couldn't have wiped Stevenage off the map!!

Reports of the crash right.....12.10 GNER - KX to Leeds.....latest six fatalities possibly more. Reports suggesting that it was travelling at 115 MPH when it came off the track...... Reports coming in are suggesting that the line may be closed for up to ten days, possibly longer. I would imagine that they will will run trains so far, then shuttle people beyond the crash site and then re- board another train to continue the journey, but bearing that in mind, those London Mags going to the GC for the Toffee's match on Saturday, or those going for the Great North Run, may want to rethink their travel arrangements......

same goes for the GC based people coming down for the WHAM match the following week as it may still be knocking on.
