Squirrel causes outage 10/18/2000NORMAN -- More than 11,500 Oklahoma Gas and Electric Co. customers lost power Tuesday afternoon when a squirrel hit conductors at a substation. Ted Greb, an OG&E spokesman, said the outage occurred about 12:30 p.m. A substation crew restored power about 1:45 p.m.
The outage covered nearly the entire west side of Norman.
