In Brief - El Al passengers opt to spend the Sabbath in NYC (IsraelWire-10/20) An El Al flight from New York City to Tel Aviv was delayed due to technical problems. Realizing the plane would be landing very close to the start of the Sabbath, passengers told airline officials they prefer to remain in New York and the flight will depart on Saturday night.
