A real bargain bookstore (misc)

Went to our local library today for the "freinds of the library "sale. Bought 63 books for between ten and twenty-five cents apiece, most less than 10 years old. Check out your local libraries. You'll find good deals and they realy need the money. And by all means, when your shelves get full, donate em back to the freinds for their next sale. Just be sure to put your "mark " in the books you donate, I actually bought some of mine back while caught up in the "readmore frenzy" before I started marking them.

One of the books I got for a quarter has alot of "tightwad" thrift ideas and hints like - store baby diaper pins stuck into a bar of soap. this lubricates the point, making it pierce the cloth diaper easier and extends the life of the pin point. A cheap toy for kids, take a ball of string , tied tight with about 2 feet trailing, tie the trailing end to a plastic disposable laundry scoop, instant ball and cup toy. Another book I picked up has 150 simple science experiments for kids (like Mr. Wizard) as DJ and I tackle these (one a week), I'll share them with you here and maybe we can compare results. Gotta go now, want to read Mark Twains' Pudd'nhead Wilson.
