I noticed a little flirty thing between Carter and Abby. Carter does have a track record with medical students. Do you think this would be a good pairing? Why or why not?

I have always liked Maura Tierny and I was so thrilled that she joined the cast. Also, in the last few episodes I've really come to like Abby, as well. In short, I'm trying to say I would love to see a Carter/Abby pairing. I know not everyone agrees, and a lot of people want to see Luka and Abby get together, but I say Carter all the way.

Well, i think this has possibilities definitely. Obviously they have a lot in common. This was probably written in for exactly this reason. I never did buy into the whole Carter/Lucy relationship thing, neither did the writers, neither did Noah or Kellie. But Abby? Well, as I said , it has possibilities. And the age thing makes Carter and Abby a more logical pairup than Luka and Abby.

Carter & Abby? Well, I think the third time is the charm. Bello, Knight & now Abby. Perdiction: Carter & Abby get serious by seasons end.

I am so SICK and tired of Abby this and Abby that. Why don't they just name it "The Abby Show?" Every episode has her as THE main character, and quite frankly I'm sick of that. Besides, Maura looks too old for Carter. If she were a little taller, than she and Dr. Kovac would be more suitable.

I would really like to see Carter paired up with Deb Chen (Jing Mei). They have a lot of chemistry and are very comfortable around each other... always joking around, etc. Plus, if Ming-Na had stayed back in Season One of ER, than she and Carter would have certainly been paired up, because the producers and writers were getting ready for that storyline. Chen & Carter ALL THE WAY!!!!

NNNNOOOOOO!!! NO CARTER AND CHEN! NO NO NO NO NO!! THAT SEAT IS SAVED AND KEPT WARM FOR DAVE ONLY!!! I think that abby and carter are going to get serious because why else would they write in that whole abby being at the AA meetings and her being his sponsor. I think that Carter will talk to abby about what happened and everything and why he started doing it and BAM some unexplained kiss deal and they get together happily ever after.. or so it seems, and nothing is as it seems in the ER these days..

I totally want Abby and Carter together. That Luka and Abby thing isn't going too well for me. Carter and Abby have so much more chemistry, in my opinion, than her and Luka. The end of the Sand and Water episode was definitly foreshadowing of things come. Hopefully.

I would love to see Carter and Abby get together. Carter is my favorite on the show and I like Abby too. It would be the best relationship he's had with a woman since Anna. I think it would be good for him. I'm not really into the whole Luka and Abby thing. It's ok, but I would much rather see Abby and Carter. Luka should hook up with someone outside the hospital.

Luka and Abby Carter and Chen

Carter should have paired up with Chen a long time ago. They understand each others goals, and dispite a rocky start, they have something to build on.

We now can assume that Carter and Chen have similar family upbringings - her mother certainly appeared wealthy in the Thanksgiving episode.

Abby brings baggage with her - her own prior chemical dependency, a previous marriage, financial problems. She is better suited to help Luka through is losses (his family).

I absolutely love the idea of Carter and Abby together. They have a lot in common and understand each other. Yes, she has a lot of emotional baggage, but so does Carter. Abby's relationship with Luka is not doing well, and I see a love triangle coming up soon. She's constantly kind and concerned about Luka, but he continually blows her off. Abby and Carter have good chemistry, and they both deserve to be happy.

I don't see that happened any time this season. Maybe next. I don't think the Luka thing will last. They haven't built up the sexual tension so it's probably just a passing thing. Two people comforting each other. There hasn't been any real sexual tension since Clooney left. However, It's possible with Carter, but I don't think it will happen, or should happen with Abby. A new women needs to come on the scene and have sparks fly between Carter and her.

I love the idea of Carter and Chen. They started out as med students together and I think that both Chen and Carter share a disappointment over their life, as compared to what they wanted it to be. But together through their emotional connection and their friendship, they soften the edges of that disappointment. I'd like to see that progress into something more.

I would LOVE Abby and Carter to get together - they're both my faves and I think they'd be really sweet and funny together. That whole Luka is DULL. THey have no chemistry and it's not good have two really serious characters together. Despite his problems Carter is a lot more funny and interesting so him and Abby would be perfect for each other. I've been wanting this to happen for ages!

I think that Carter and Abby hooking up would be great! They have so much chemistry. Abby gave up a non-date with her couch and an almost- maybe-date with Luka's musician guy, for a non-date with Carter. Does anyone else notice when Carter sometimes looks at Abby for too long? There was so much electrifying sexual tension on that road trip (Thy Will Be Done). They have already forged emotional intimacy. Abby always runs to Carter's side with her family problems. Carter is always there and ready to listen. She doesn't even tell Luka, instead she cries in the bathroom. He "rescued" her (from drinking). And she "saved" his life (by helping him stop taking narcotics). They both have past addictions, so it's easier for them to understand eachother and they accept eachother for who they are. They also both have family problems (Carter has Gamma, and Abby has her bipolar mother.) If they made love, it probably wouldn't remind Carter of a bishop with Lupus (as it did Luka). It's not possible for Abby to drown herself in sadness and darkness with Carter. They live in the realm of being active with their friendship and their relationship. Carter and Abby's non-date didn't end with death, unlike Abby and Luka's real date. Carter and Abby actually talk to eachother. Well, this should be enough reasons to convince you that Carter and Abby are best suited for eachother! Live on Carbies!

I think that Carter and Abby would be great for each other. It's about time they started something. They have been flirting for three years now. Get them together!!!!!!!!!!!!!
