anyone know how too sharpen a buck saw? Mine is getting hard to work,, I cant see any older sharpening marks on the edges, do I just keep the points sharp?

Stan, I'm not entirely sure what you mean by a buck saw, that tends to be a regional term for several types of saws. I'd just try filing the beveled edges with a file. Also make sure the teeth and the blade itself are clean of pitch, if really bad spray on oven cleaner works. It also helps to rub beeswax or parafin on the blade while using it. Gerbil

the blade is 2 1/2 foot long, wooden handles, with one having a "pistol grip", above the blade is a tension screw. The blade had some deep teeth in it. I dont see any previous beveled edges, so I cant tell where to put the file to it.
