I'm confused about what Dr. Benton actually does. He was a surgery resident, then a trauma fellow, and now he's an attending? Did I miss anything? And how can he be a surgeon, a trauma fellow, AND an attending in the ER?

He is/was an attending surgeon. Not an ER attending
