I asked this question on the other noticeboard.See if you can get the answer .I had one reply which I have checked and was incorrect another was correct but with no workings,so he or she could have got it from the web.See how you go............Im sure Terry Threapleton will get the answer quite easy But I doubt that Pete and Viv Smith will ..

Doesn't it depend on which side you happen to be standing, ie;from the inside looking out?or the outside looking in? to determine whom is on the left or right? or would one be a bird ?

You can look from whatever angle of course.But dont turn it mid way through the clues.The answer is German by my calculations and I believe this to be the correct answer .Asked about what % of the world could read,it was Einstein's opinion and I think he meant given the riddle in any form
