I love competitive cheerleading, I loved it before I saw Bring it On and I love it now--it's as wacky as ballroom dancing. What weird sport do you like?

In a rare confluence of tv watching this past weekend, my 16 year old daughter and I sat for a good half hour watching a dog show (first time for each of us). And we both thought it was fun. It may have helped that a beagle that looked like ours won "Best Hound"

I am also a huge lover of cheerleading. I always wanted to be a cheerleader myself but i lack the coordination and the gymnastic ability. I love to watch it though and imagine how much of an ass- kicker i could have been if i were born with cheerleader genes. And i loved Bring It On as well.I don't know if it's considered weird, but it's not as traditional as, say hockey, so i'll include it - i love horse jumping. Horse racing doesn't interest me but i can't stop watching horse jumping if it's on.
And finally, although i dissed it greatly, i found myself fascinated during the Olympics when the synchronized diving came on.

Funny you should ask. Sunday me and a few of the guys were relaxing at the house. I had the remote and caught a glimpse of Sumo Wrestling. So we sat and watched that for maybe an hour and a half, and it was interesting. And of course, we had our fun comments:" Look! The guy with the eyebrows. It's the Italian-Japanese guy!" " Look at the tiny 300 lb. guy! He doesn't stand a chance..."

I always stop for stupid X sports, although I would never admit it to your face. BMX, Skateboarding, ATV's, Rollerblading. When it comes to participation, I have been forking competitively. This is when you buy a large amount of plastic forks from your local dollar store and pick someone's house and stab them into their yard. It's fun, it's sneaky, it's vandolous *and* good for the yard at the same time! So far I'm ahead with 485 forks in one yard.

From my mother I have inherited the ability to enjoy any competitive sport - as long as the participants have been training for ten years or something I'm an avid viewer. I love the Olympics - I find triple jump as exciting as triathalon.
