Daylab 300

greenspun.com : LUSENET : polaroid transfers : One Thread

Just curious if someone could tell me the difference in the Daylab Printers (Jr., II, 300, etc.) I'm having trouble accessing the Daylab site (looks to be down).

I am wanting to try my hand at image/emulsion transfer and have found this site to be of great assistance.

Along with Kathleen Carr's book, my wife just purchased the Daylab 300 for me, but I'm afraid she may have purchased the wrong Daylab for this technique.

Can someone help me out here? Any and all advice is appreciated.

Thanks!!!

Did you ever get an answer? I just won a Daylab 300 on Ebay last night. I don't know too much about it. Maybe you can share some inforomation with me since it's been a couple of years & no one answered you.

Thanks, Karen Lucchini

Hello! It's been a while since you asked your questions, but you might still be wondering, so... I have a Daylab 300 that I also purchased on EBay. It is perfect. You do, however, need to have the base that holds the Polaroid film (Instant Slide Enlarger). Mine is for 669 film, which is a good size to learn with. I hope this helps you (or somebody!). Have fun!
