greenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread

Plan on a Utah photo trip in August 2002. Brigham City Museum Gallery will host a photographic show, The Great American West: The B&W Landscape. It features the images of Dick Arentz, Paula Chamlee, Tillman Crane, Chip Hooper, Craig Law, Ray McSavaney, Barry Parsons, John Sexton, Dan Smith and Michael A. Smith. This a show you don't want to miss and a perfect time to visit Utah on your vacation. Brigham City is in Northern Utah, about an hour North of Salt Lake City, home of the Bear River Migratory Bird Refuge and on the way to Yellowstone National Park. If you have any questions, please feel free to e-mail me for information as I am the curator of the show. Dan Smith

Dan: This looks like a interesting event and I'll try to make it.

Are your sure August is a perfect time to visit Utah ? I thought it would be the worst due to heat, crowds in national parks, and landscape conditions (lack of snow, wildflowers or fall colors, and clouds).
