I can send you comfey roots, don't know if it's best to send them now or in the spring, let me know. I might be able to get the soapwort, but then again I might have to wait til spring. The Plant lady in Versailles In sells it. I'll give her a call tomorrow. E-mail your address if you want the comfrey.

I have comfrey that I would be willing to share but I'm afraid you'll have to wait for spring. Here in Iowa, it's frozen in pretty tight right now. Just be sure that if and when you get it, you put it where you really want it to be and don't run the tiller over it or you'll have comfrey eberywhere. Let me know if you want it for spring planting. It's very good for helping compost piles work their best and I give it a haircut several times thru the year and just string the leaves around in the garden to help the growing plants. It is prolific by root, has pretty lavender flowers and the bees love it as do the hummingbirds.
