Israel WireHazMat incident at Shar HaNegev
(BNI-Dev.4 –9:30am) At least six persons have been transported to a Hospital for treatment of inhalation of a hazardous substance the Kol M’Hashetach News Agency reports.
According to the limited information available, a hazardous materials situation has been declared in the Shar Ha Negev industrial area near S’derot, resulting from an ammonia leak. The entire area is being sealed off preventing persons from coming in proximity of the contaminated area. It is unknown is the leak is active or under control at this time. It also remains unknown if persons area being evacuated from the surrounding areas.
