The Friends of the ABC will be holding a lunchtime rally in Hindmarsh Square on Wednesday 13 December, at 1230, to protest against the destruction of the ABC, in particular the axing of Quantum and the sacking of Paul Barry, presenter of Media Watch.

Speakers will include Jane Lomax-Smith, and Barbara Biggins.

As a member of FABC, I wish I had been informed of the FABC support to the ABC stopwork. I support a vigorous campaign in support of the ABC. This is as important to our democracy as the MUA struggle was. See you 13 December
