Fire shuts down Toronto subway system

A fire on a Toronto subway train forced the city to shut down a large section of the service this morning, leaving a number of commuters late for work. The fire broke out in a train that was picking up garbage along the subway line. There were no injuries reported but damage to the train is extensive. The cars are going to have to be cut and disassembled before being hauled away because they're partially melted. That portion of the subway will remain closed until Saturday morning and passengers in the area at time are being bussed to the next stop.
