We live in NE Ohio and are interested in purchasing Scottish Highland Cattle. Anyone have any information on these cattle, and where we can find them? Mary

Contact the American Scotch Highland Breeders' Association. Last address I have is Francine Hogate, Secretary, P.O. Box 81, Remer, MN 56672 - 218-566-1321. Area code has probably changed.

I have Scottish Highland Cattle and may be selling my breeding stock next year. Haven't decided yet. (I just love my Scotties.) I live in NE Indiana.

The Highland Association is a good place to start. They do have internet web site, but don't recall it at the moment.

Also, look at agdomain.com. They have a few people on there with them.

Mary - I also live in NE Ohio and have on occasion seen Scottish Highland cattle for sale in the little GoodNews paper that comes out of Middlefield. And also the Farm and Dairy is a good source to watch.

This iissue of Countryside has an article about Scottish Highlands. Also, if you have old issues and the indexes or indexi? then look in there as several articles have been written in Countryside about Highlands. Hope this helps.
