I wouldn't call Tino clueless - lazy, undisciplined, unpredictable, sublimely talented, but not clueless.
Too much water - and possibly other stuff - under the bridge methinks. Although it had also crossed my mind, fleetingly.

But Clarky, the posting said clubless not clueless-doh!

Begs the question have any of football's so called characters ever achieved anything once people's patience wore thin ?

Wasn't tino playing for the team that won the world club championship last season? You don't just "lose it," after a few months. I'd have him back, for sure.

Pit Bull: Cantona?

If he's clubless then we ought at least to check him out (but don't watch any out-of-date-videos). Sadly, I guess he's probably not the player he was otherwise he would not be unclubbed. Wonderful player - the only way to stop him was to make him a lone striker in a 9-0-1 formation, exactly what TSM did.

Oh I`ve got a real soft spot for Tino - I`d have him back, but probably for all the wrong reasons.(:o)

Few people make good comebacks (Pedro, Keegan, Darth Vader)I'd prefer to remember Tino as the unpredictable genius. Best memories:
Hatrick vs Barca
Hoisting his black and white top with the corner flag vs Metz (?is that right?)
Arriving in Newcastle wearing a thick fur coat with snow falling around him. No, not the illegal kind of 'snow'...

I'm with Galaxy on this. I'd love to see him back, if only because I've got a huuuuuuuge poster of him on my office wall. I thought he was the dogs dangly bits. But i'm not being sensible, am I?Bring him back NOW

At worst the Reserves would win.At best he'd play a few games and entertain us
Pay him per game and see what happens
How old is he ?
