Have you ever lost yourself in someone's eyes?

Maybe it was when you realized you were in love. Or when you realized you had found a best friend. The eyes can say so much more than words ever could.

Have you ever lost yourself in someone else's eyes?

Yes, yes I have indeed. A couple of months ago. And they were so gorgeous, much different than any picture had ever showed me.

Suzen, I also find it hard to make eye contact with people. I don't know why; it intimidates me.

i have lost myself in two peoples eyes. one guy hurt me and the other... well... it's moving along nicely! ;o) making eye contact is almost like making love, there is such a close connection... eye contact often says more then words!

its scary...

it took awhile before the guy i've been with for the past year or so finally got together. there were a few months of unresolved tension that pretty much everyone saw. a lot of my friends joked around about how one day we'd just get drunk and tear each others clothes off and be akwards for a few days before things got better. that was the prediction. in reality? it was different. we were mildly drunk, that part was right. but otherwise...i mean...we didn't really do a whole lot more than kiss, mainly because we just got all caught up in just....staring. i mean, he did it first. he just sort of traced the contours of my face while looking right THROUGH me with this just...very..content smile. i knew i was doing it right back. it was unlike anything i'd ever experienced. this sensation of pure bliss...just by staring into those gorgeous brown eyes which just seemed so comfortable and happy. it was at this point that i realized that things were more serious than i pretended they were..and that i wished we had looked at each other like that sooner.

but it was well worth the wait.

Yes.

They were blue...and I know people always say "Oh, so-and-so the most beautiful blue eyes I've ever seen!" but I'm positive that those eyes don't compare to his. He had the most intense stare...I felt like he was looking right into my soul, reading me like a book. It felt like he was completely in love with me, totally devoted to me at that moment in time. Although that may not be true, I'll never forget those eyes.

they were sea blue...beautiful and captivating. He was my first boyfriend and i had an enormous crush on him for four years...and when we finally got together..i told him it was his eyes that got me. we're not together anymore and that's okay..but i'll always remember the way he cocks his head to the side and stared at me with such innocence that it made me giggled. i did that alot when i was with him....giggle that is. sometimes those eyes of his would change color. sometimes pale grey..giving the illusion that silver eyes were possible...into blue green...into sky green. the only problem was..we weren't seeing eye to eye..if you know what i mean..about so many issues..and contrary to what many have told me...your eyes are not always the window to your soul. they lose their magical effects after awhile.
