Daylab 35 Plus

I am interested if anybody has experience with this new Daylab 35 Plus which is replacing Daylab II. It seems that the major difference (the only one?) is new Electronic Flash Exposure System replacing the Tungsten Illumination.

I sent my questions to Polaroid Technical Support:
"Currently, I am using Daylab II slide printer with all available basis. I am interested what changes were introduced in Daylab 35 Plus except flash exposure. Any improvements in focusing mechanism? It is quite frustrating with 4x5 base (much better with 8x10). Is it possible to order just a head of Daylab 35+ without any base. I am assuming that all acessories for Daylab II and 35+ are compatible."

... and got some answers:
"The only change real change is the Daylab II is tungsten light exposure and the Daylab 35 plus is flash exposure.

Yes it is possible to order the Daylab 35 plus head only the PID # is 122139 The Suggested list price is $334.13

Yes all the accessories for Daylab II and Daylab 35 plus are compatible."
