Hey All, you may remember that I bought land a few months ago in MO, and Gail and I share a property line. We had become daily email buddies, and since he's gone offline, we are now sharing old- fashioned letters by mail. He is such a sweetie!! He sent me a tiny cedar tree and a few rocks from my land, a pot and the most wonderful DIRT, along with some cookies he baked! He's still trying to get disability, and looks like surgery is in the not too distant future. I'm sending off a letter on Jan.2, so I'll gladly pass along any and all messages. He only goes to town for mail once a week. So far, he hasn't seen the forum since he "cut back". I'll tell him there's a thread in his honor! I'm sure he'll appreciate it. Cathy

Tell him hi forme. He's been on my mind some lately. God Bless him.

Tell him hi for me, too -- I have been wondering how he's doing. Could you keep us posted on a regular basis? And let us know about the surgery, when it is going to be, so we can expecially keep him in prayer that day. Wish we were closer and could help with more practical things -- but at least he's getting a good neighbor!!

Tell Gail Barbara in Ky said hi and not to give up on that disability! The government can be stubborn sometimes, especially when it comes to backs. If he has surgery, I would love to know so I can pray for him and/or send him a card. I've been there and know what it's like. Tell him if he gets the opportunity, we'd love to hear from him and wish him the best. Thanks

Cathy, if I can make a suggestion. If possible why don't you print out these responses and send to Gail?

-- bwilliams (bjconthefarm@yahoo.com), January 01, 2001.

A letter went out to Gail this morning, with all of your warm wishes enclosed. (I don't have a printer.) I promise to keep you updated, and I asked his permission to give out his mailing address. I think it would be wonderful for him to receive cards, etc., from his loving friends here on the forum. I have tears in my eyes as I realise just how lucky we all are to have found each other in this sometimes cruel and unfriendly world. I am amazed at how much genuine concern we have for one another. Thanks.

Am I too late?! I hope not. I really miss Gail and hope he's doing okay. Please give him my best, too!!! How wonderful that you are going to be neighbors! (and trigger, what a sweetie you are for posting this!)
