QUESTION: What is the best way to make a still image montage of digital photos and music?I have 100 .jpg pictures and a music soundtrack that I want to use to make a nice presentation for the PC or TV. I have made video montages with music using the Pinnacle DC10+ capture card and Studio DC10+ software. But if all I want to do is use still pictures, a video editing software seems like an inefficient way to create it (not to mention a large sized file!). Can you recommend any other ways?
Also, I am right to assume that an MPEG1 (or MPEG2) file without moving images be smaller than one with moving images?

You don't need a capture card to make a slideshow. Use WinOnCD 3.7 or 3.8 (the latter alows music with the slides). Nero-5 also generates good slideshows, but dus not yet have facilities to generate menus. The soon to come Nero-5.5 will have these facilities.Friendly greetings.

Try xatshow at www.xat.comVery cool interface. Easy to use. Next version will allow still images with mpg and a menu.
