Obviously I just got a camera. I would appreciate any guidance. I have the sony drc-trv 720. It is a digital8 camera that records to hi8/digital8 video cassettes. Is this the same as DV? Am I safe to follow advice given to people w/ DV systems? What is a good card for my pc (pIII 800m HP)? I want to edit the video. What software is prudent for my situation? ANY direction is appreciated. Gary

I use Pinnacle Studio DV. It comes with a good card.
