The Kumbha Mela is taking place in India. Twelve million people attend apparently - (where were they when they were ... etc).I'm surprised Newton Heath hasn't gone to play an exhibition match there. England should surely be represented at such an important event. The club is steeped in the tradition of heading off to far corners of the World in pursuit of the noble objective of global brand awareness. Instead they've been wasting their time in a tin pot FA Cup competition.

Saw it on telly Jonno. Thought the pitch looked a bit wet - would suit Giggs' diving a treat I would have thought.
