I had talked about an in pipe fan we have well I finially found their web site. WWW.usstove.com go into products and keep going down to more wood/coal and look for a thing called the mirical heater. I do not like saying something is worth the money but this is. We just received our 2 nd one and love it. It catches heat in the stove pipe and blowes it in to the room, I can get 3x the heat out of the same size fire, wit the the damper almost closed,or heat the room 10 degrees in about 10 min.Take a look and let me know what you think,it is so easy to hook up I did ours in about 40 min. I do not know if the price is in there but we paid 112.00 for the 6in. pipe model, shipping was around $10.

Congratulations. My great aunt had something similar rigged up when I was a kid, but yours sounds much more efficient. She kept a box fan between the wall and the stove aiming into the room. Isn't it great being able to max the heat out like that.

Renee: Is this thing heat driven or electric? Doesn't look like it could be electric by the picture they show, and the catalog doesn't say. Looks like it would be great! Jan

Jan,it is electric and heat fed. Once the coils heat up inside a fan starts trapping almost all the heat in the pipe and blows it into the room. I can not figure for the life of me how the smoke does not come out.The fan starts at a certain temp{maybe 600}and then shuts its self off when it drops. The cord it come w/ is NOT long enough so I used an extension{they recomend not} cord, seens ok. The amount of heat it puts out will blow you away, friends come over and love it. % friends have already bought 1 and say the same as i do, it really saves on wood. I have not figured out the elecric cost but I do not think fans use much. E-mail me if you have any ?'s

They also make one that is called a Magic Heat. You can find it at northerntool.com. Two of my brothers each have one and they say they work real good. They cost a little more but they have more tubes in them. I downloaded the owner's manual to see this.
