Fresh chopped green jalapinos on anything purchased from a grociery store. (Chopped because more surface area is exposed to release the heat.)

Not sure if this is the right kind of "hot" peppers; but I pickle the Hungarian (hot) Wax peppers and banana peppers from my garden - sometimes with a "hottie" tossed in each jar. I use 1/2 pint jars.

Bambino (Deer Italian Beef!)

1 med size chunk of deer roast (to fit in crock pot)

1 1/2 pt jar of pickeled peppers with juice

1 heaping tablespoon Italian seasoning

1 pkg. dry onion soup mix

1 quart or so of water

Cook in crock pot at low or medium all day, shred meat and put back in broth, serve on crusty bread - MMMmmmm! Think I'll go forage in the freezer!

My husband and I dreamed this one up to satisfy our addiction to HEAT!

marinate salmon fillets in olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, horseradish and fresh ground black pepper (or substitute Italian dressing) for a few hours. Then top with sliced red onions, sliced Jalapenos (LOTS of 'em!) a little more fresh ground black pepper and garlic, and top it off with thin slices of lemon.(The lemon protects the onions and peppers from charring.Just remove them before serving.) This can be broiled or wrapped in foil and grilled. It's heavenly either way. Serve with rice pilaf and a steamed vegetable.
