Thanks for the information JLS! I have a feeling I'm going to be disappointed though because I thought that they might have Carter remember what happened a year ago. Isn't this episode on Feb. 15th? The first anniversaries of someones death is always the hardest and it's not mentioned in your spoilers. Thanks anyways!

yay, just happy to see deb back!can't wait till this episode!

Thanks alot for the spoilers JLS! I also will be disappointed of they don't mention the fact that it's been a year since the stabbings. It'll be like it had never happened. And one year anniversaries of a friend or family member are the hardest IMO.

WOW! That sounds good. thanks a lot for the spoilers!

Woo! Deb's back, and she's interacting with Carter! Double bonus for me on my birthday. Thanks for the spoilers, JLS!

Hmmm, isn't this usually the episode that is the height of the sweeps season? This episode sounds ok, but definetly not sweeps potential (and yes, it is around the one year mark where I am desperately awaiting some mention of the stabbing). I found this forum right after the stabbing last year, so I don't know, was it out that Lucy and Carter would get stabbed? JLS, did you know or was it a total surprise? I'm guessing you would know above anyone! I know it was out that something would happen to them, but *I* didn't know what or when (can you believe I was giving up on the show back then!?) Not that I should really expect anything huge; after last year, I doubt they'll ever top that. Does anyone know if something huge is even supposed to happen? Well anyways, enough babbling. Thanks for the spoilers.

Many people knew of the stabbings. Many media sources reported it.

The episode after this one would be more the "height" of February sweeps actually, I think.

Are my instincts right then about them not mentioning what happened a year ago then? That would be very dumb if they did that because you know in the real world a major shooting, or whatever would be remembered a year later by everyone and for ER to just pretend that the stabbings never happened would really be low IMO.

Veiled Spoiler Speculation below ( just in case!!!)

Given that episode 15 the week after this is ER's 150th episode I expect that they might be planning a major happening in this episode to mark it. I have strong suspicions about what it may be but I am keeping them to myself for the time being although you may be able to read between the lines and get my drift. I have no access to spoilers so my thoughts are pure speculation and I could be way off base.

I'm so glad we are going to see Deb (at least I'm hoping it's more than a 30 second appearance). It will be interesting to see how the little boy plays into the picture. Actually after reading the comments about the stabbing perhaps it will be tied into this storyline. I see potential, mind you anything with Deb and Carter can't be bad IMO :)

This sounds like a great epi! I just love Jing-Mei and Carter's friendship. I do hope, though, that Kerry doesn't start acting silly. Kim was definitely wary of getting involved with her after Kerry's skittishness, and I would like their relationship to be happy!

I am so happy that Deb/Jing Mei finally got her come-uppance this season with a pregnancy....her cockiness was enough to make me barf. Some more indignities would be fine with me, to watch.

I have a question about Mark. Wouldn't they evaluate him before he started working again instead of after he started working again?

I thought the bishop was supposed to be in, and consequently-finally!- a little focus on Luka, for four epi's. No mention of it?

-- why? (tkjjd@yahoo.com), January 24, 2001.

I have the answer to my own question. The bishop WILL be in this epi. For those who are interested, there is a more complete spoiler at NBCMediaVillage.
