Is anyone using electronic flash on Graphics cameras

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Large format photography : One Thread

I'd like to be able add an electronic flash to my Super and Century Graphic. I am wondering as to how to set it up. I have a Vivitar 283 that can be used; Guide #120. I was thinking originally to get a flash bracket to place it high and centered, but I don't know if there are sizes available. Is anyone using on camera flash, or have other ideas.

Try this thread, which I initiated with a similar question in December:

I have a Agfatronic SCA 300 which has a large bracket that I use on my Speed Grafic 45, it works very well with a guide # of 210 with ASA 100 film. Pat

HI Wayne,

Yes I use a Sunpack 555 strobe on my graphic, using the original flash mount and modified a pair of graphic clamps using stainless hose clamps to fit around the sunpack handle, works great.

Good luck
