Army Surplus Hexanons 135 f2.5 full of fungus are out there!

Has anyone been offered a 135 Hex f2.5 at a great price? I was offered 12 at $7.50@. They are surplus from the Marine Photography Detachment at Camp Lejeune. They are OLD and just as FUNGUS filled as the AR T was that I purchased in November. BEWARE!

Interesting rumor. But Camp Lejeune doesn't have a Photography Detachment.

As you can see (from my message above) I just bought a 135mm f2.5 lens off of eBay. But I don't think it is related to this rumor. If it is, it must be one of the really really good ones because it is not anywhere near as bad (so I'm told) as what you describe.

I did some research and Camp Lejeune is in North Carolina and the store I bought the lens from is in State College, PA (Pittsburgh) so it is quite far away. Camp Lejeune's web site does not list any Photography Detachment, nor mentions it anywhere. When you take a look at the services offered at the base, there isn't even a photo development or photo store on base... I could be missing something here..
