Ha! He beat NOTW in a libel case over the 'cardschool' report, and won 'very substantial' damagesGood man, still got a place in my heart, now more than ever.
Question to your all : how much do YOU think they mean by 'substantial'?
I reckon no more than £250k, but that might be small change to wor Kev.

BBC on line reports £150k plus court costs.

Good old BBC! I heard when the news first broke that the damages were undisclosed. Clearly not...Is 150k considered 'substantial'? Suppose it depends on your terms of reference...

I imagine that Keegan is not too bothered about the cash. I heard him on the radio, just before I went to the pub at lunchtim (Strange postings from now on then) and he seemed genuinely pleased that the NOTW had been found to print bulls'##t. The whole case seemed to revolve around stopping NOTW from printing such lies.

The newsreader also started with, "an emotional Kevin Keegan gave this speech after the judges ruling". Not again, I thought!!"My defence have got to go to court and get something, and that won't be easy but I would love it, love it!"
Another great Kevin Keegan defence.
