Does anyone out there have a clue as to where I can get a battery door for my X-24 flash without buying a new one.....Tried Konica Factory already

Hi Dave!I fabricated a thin aluminum plate that I screw in the bottom that holds the broken door in place. AFAIK the original doors are made of unobtanium.

You can try Greg Weber, ebay for a junker or place an ad off the Impact Guide classified section. Thats how I located a junker and I lucked out by finding a dealer who happened to have one. Both cost under $20. Try any camera repair shops locally or nationally. Theres a complete list off Ace Index. Try posting an ad at your local photo dealers. You got to be patient and persistent. It took me close to a year to find the two I have. In the meantime you can use zip strip wrapped around the flash to hold the door in place ala Greg Weber and others. I wish you lots of luck. If I can locate the dealers web site I'll drop you a line. Dave
