Experience with POTA developer

greenspun.com : LUSENET : B&W Photo - Film & Processing : One Thread

I am going to shoot landscapes at relatively high elevations - there will be a lot of light, snow and perhaps sharp shadows thrown by the trees, etc. I thought of using POTA developer. Choice of film - Kodak Tech Pan, Ilford Pan F and Kodak Verichrome Pan for lower light situations. Has anyone had any relevant experience with POTA. Development times, pros, cons, any other advice is most welcomed.

It has been awhile since I used POTA but it works great on high contrast situations. It is a very low contrast developer that is cheap and realy nice working especially for TP!!! I'll have to look in my notes for times ect. Cheers
