I would like to know more about the history of the San Francisco Giants? I am looking for answers to questions such as where they came from, what were their reasons for moving to San Francisco, and their original roster?

HI Victoria...i hope you've received answers to your questions re. the SF Giants.. they moved here in 1958 from NYC. the move was coupled with the Brooklyn Dodgers who went to LA in the same year. reason ? economics more money to be tapped in the West as always money money money
