You talk of a buying an FT-1 battery pack straight from konica, do you know if they have an FS-1 battery pack in stock? Mine just broke from the bottom and I've had to super glue it back together. It works fine but I would rather have a new one.

I've seen a couple FS-1 battery cases on eBay from time to time. They seem to sell for a bit less than the FT-1 cases, ISTR around $25 or 30.

Like you, I have had a case crack (however an FT-1 AAA case), glued it up with epoxy & it held fine. Then a "friend" dropped the camera on a concrete patio & it cracked again. A little more glue & it's still working!
