I tried to do remote installation of Sqlserver both 6.5 and 7.0 Sometimes , the installation fails half the way and sometimes I am receiving the message 'sqlserver successfully installed'. It failed to start the MSSQLSERVER Services and also already existing mssqlserver 7 also got corrupted Do you have suggestion . Please help me

Try searching the usenet forum microsoft.public.sqlserver.setup (using Deja.com at http://www.deja.com/home_ps.shtml) with phrases or error numbers from the error messages you are receiving.
