I don't have any experience either, but have given some thought to using P/S/P to build a root cellar on the hillside.

I believe the phrase stands for post/shoring/plank and was coined by Mike Oehler from the "the $50 & up undergroud house book" I dunno if the book is still in print but I do believe Mike is still around doing seminars and 'stuff' & you can prob'ly get the book from a out of print search at amazon.com

Haven't you guys read the current issue of Countryside? Yes, it stands for Post/Shoring/Polyethylene, a construction method.

Yes, the book is still in print and being sold by the author. There was a major article in the Jan/Feb 2001 issue of Countryside. How could you have missed it?
