---dependent on my mood.

I've been listening to (belive it or not) a lot of John Denver lately. Never was a fan before; got introduced this summer and have been enjoying listening to all the music everyone but me has known for a long time.

The other CD that gets worn out in my CD player is Steve Schalchlin's Bonus Round Sessions, especially his "Save Me a Seat" and "Five Great Big Guys."

I also play the song that my site is named for, Lawsuit's "Funny"

Other better known stuff is mostly theatre-related or ballad types.

Bruce Springsteen - Thunder Road.

No song has ever made me feel the way I feel when I hear it EVERY time I hear it. I have many different versions of this song on various bootlegs, and I will never get sick of it.

American Pie is a close 2nd.

Nessun Dorma from Turandot by Puccini as sung by Luciano Pavarotti The music moves me more than any other ever. The words are sublime. Aretha Franklin did has a surprisingly tremendous rendition of her own on the Grammys a few years ago.
