I am doing me science fair project on this. OK.... the reason mold grows on bread is because... When you leave bread sitting out in the open and let it sit for a while other bread spores willl land and reproduce on this bread. This is why mold grows on bread!!! Thanks a bunch. Catt... P.S. Does this answer your question???

That's easy. When all the moisture in the bread dries up, it produces spores. The mycelium will reproduce and more mold will grow.
