Well, shih tzu are finished being judged for breed, they were judged at 1pm today. Here are the breed results. BOB went to Gilbert Kahn's dog Joey, CH Charing Cross Ragtime Cowboy. BOS went to CH Ming Dynasty Doll Player bred by Jim and Gloria Blackburn and owned by Tara and Frank Forrester. 2 AOMs were given and went to CH Fantasy's Supernatural bred by Susan Kilgore and owned by Greg and Tammy Larson, and to CH Starfire's Gift of Friendship bred by Kelly Norrish and Vicki Youngquist and owned by Kelly. The toy group will be judged tonight as will the terriers, working and nonsporting. Its televised live here and I"ll be watching tonight adn will let you know the group results. Sporting, herding and hound breeds will be judged tomorrow day with those groups tomorrow night then last thing tomorrow night will be BIS judging. I can definitely see Joey taking the toy group, he's sure to get a placement at least, but I wouldnt be suprised to see him win the group. As for BIS, my money's still on the Kerry Blue who by the way did take the first step and won BOB earlier today.

Ah, so it was the Bichon that went BIS - never mind Gilbert - a good run nevertheless, next year maybe?(:o)

Yes, BIS went to the Bichon Frise, CH Special Times Just Right, aka "JR". Group results were Toy: shih tzu (Joey) Non sporting: bichon Herding: pembroke corgi Terrier: kerry blue Sporting: flat coated retriever hounds: bloodhound and I forget who won working...

This is still a great win for Joey. Of course, winning breed and especially winning group is always a big win at Westminster. But Joey is now the ONLY shih tzu to win the group there twice. The only other shih tzu to win the group at Westminster was CH LouWans Rebel Yell (a Rebel Rouser son).
