One of our egroup contributors has written in to say that there is a Comments Line that the board of the ABC monitor daily. You phone the ABC on 02 9950 3000, an operator answers and you ask to be put through to the Comments Line. It is very straightforward; there is a short recorded message, then you have your say after the beep. Have a go – I just left a message about the fact that the Canberra rally did not get a mention on the ABC news, and suggested that this smacks of interference.

I too rang the ABC the morning after the Big Rally and left some very strongly worded comments on the Comments Line about the absence of ABC coverage.

And this morning, 19 February, there is a tremendous article on the Canberra Times, page 11, by Geoff Davies - "Democracy subverted, betrayed" which all Australians should read!
