Sent one of my many FT-1's to NJ for CLA and malfunctioning LED's. Got it back only to discover that I can't load the first roll due to the adhesive on the pressure spring on the take up spool. It just glues the film right there and the drive sprocket eats film. Don't think they ran any film through it for a check out. (Couldn't have) Although, the LED's work just fine and are within 1/2 stop of all my others. And it's real clean!! And real quiet! Oh well, I guess it's like getting your car repaired..........just can't get it right the first time!!

Jim, Check the posting re: FT-1 problems on this chat board. Another user had the same problem w/film loading and resolved the problem w/a little cleaning. What did Konica charge you for the CLA? Dave

The cost for CLA at Konica is $72 plus parts. And they routinely add in a AA batt holder. BTW, I had a loading problem with one of my others and I was able to put off sending it in for about 6 months by cleaning. But it finally got so bad I had to relent and send it in!!
