What is the difference between Jewish Rye, Deli Rye, and Hearty Rye (and other various rye breads)?

Answers

The largest difference in Rye breads is density, light or dark rye flour, and the seasonings used to augment the flavor (onion, caraway, garlic, etc.) Most people associate the flavor of caraway with rye more than the rye itself. If you were to taste a rye bread without caraway, you may not notice the rye save for color and texture.

On the ethnic diversity, many cultures tend to reflect the seasoning in the rye with the tableside prefernces of flavor.
