If You Can...

Start the day without caffeine Get going without pep pills Always be cheerful, ignoring aches and pains Resist complaining and boring people with your troubles Eat the same food every day and be grateful for it Understand when your loved ones are too busy to give you any time Overlook it when those you love take it out on you when something goes wrong Take criticism and blame without resentment Ignore your friend's limited education and never correct them Resist treating a rich friend better than a poor friend Face the world without lies and deceit Conquer tension without medical help Relax without liquor Sleep without the aid of drugs Honestly say that deep in your heart you have no prejudice against creed, color, religion or politics

Then, my friends, you are almost as good as your dog.

Tom: Really noteworthy. I'm copying it and sending it on to my daughter in law. Thanks for posting it! Jan

You forgot sniffing butts and drinking out of the toilet. Good post though.

Dogs Are Miracles with Paws.....A dog's nose in the palm of your hand can cure almost anything....Dogs are made of love and fur...If you had a tail, wouldn't you wag it?...God made dogs, and he spelled his own name backwards!...Apply dog logic to life-eat well, be loved, get petted, sleep a lot, dream of a leash-free world.

The kids are grown, we decided to stay together for the sake of the dog!

Those were the days, when I had a dog to model my life after. They truely have the buddha-nature. Ever notice when people try to get their dog to take on human attributes, they seem to become more neurotic?
