I am looking for a pattern for a yoke that is used in the gathering of maple sap. Is there any help for me?? Thank you and 73's Arnold

Additional clarification of sap yoke subject. The yoke that I have in mind sets on a persons shoulders and it is used to carry 2 pails of sap (one on each end). The yoke is used to make the gathering of maple sap easier on a persons arms and elbows. Once again THANK YOU for the help. 73's Arnold

Take a baswood or any light fairly strong log about eight inches in diameter. Fire up the chain saw, rip the log for about three feet cut one half off. With one half still atatched to log turn round part down, using tip of saw rasp out an area the size of your shoulders cut three quarters through for neck hole. shape ends to eight inches long to hang pails, cut from log . Rreason for not cutting loose from log till last is it [log ] gives suport wile shaping. jack
