Recoating lens

Can someone tell me how to get in touch with the gentleman who does such a good job of recoating old lens? Also, what it generally costs to clean haze and recoat front element of an Elmar 50 f3.5?

Last time I checked, it was over $100 to have this done, and he told me some lenses sent to him were scratched too badly to repair. As long as it is only light cleaning marks, then its usually repairable. Whether its worth the money...

I have spent a lot of time at the various Robert Monagahn photo info sites (like the one in the link above)and am always amazed at the depth of info from that guy. He is very knowledgeable about many technical subjects and write very clearly. The medium format info he has compiled is staggering.
