i have a pack of kodak hypo clear i was about to make up to help cut down on rinse time when i noticed the package read "for use with film and non resin coated paper"...... problem, i got it to use with my RC paper

will this still help cut down wash time on RC paper? did i just get the wrong kind? do i really not need to wash RC paper that long?

thanks again for any help joe

Answers

RC paper has a wash time of 3-5 minutes. So hypo clear is not needed.

Kodak hypo clear and RC paper

Joe, I have been using a product called, "Orbit Bath" since about 1970 or 72 and use it with RC, fiber paper as well as all my b&w films and have had no problems. A bottle costs about $4 and will make 4 or 6 gallons and I love it. Hope this helps. Dave
