I am looking for plans for a corn burning stove. Does anyone have these handy? Or know where I can get them?

I was looking for the same thing as you on the net. I have an article in a farm magazine where a guy built his own corn stove. The details are slim but there is a contact number. Give me a call or email if you want the article. If you have already found something I would love to hear from you as well Terry Aylmer Canada 519-773-3704

Hi Terry,

Don't exect you're intersted in one ready-built, but they're building them in London, Ontario, now (a brand that was built in Guelph). The only address they give is a P.O. Box - are they building them there?

Also an innovative stove, with ten years of trouble-free service, built in Blyth, Ontario. The only one that I know of certified for wheat and rye as well as corn.

If you visit Blyth(call ahead (519)523--9897), ask the builder how his stove works and you may get some ideas to improve the one you have in mind. If you're an excellent welder, he may hire you, as there's increasing demand for his stoves. www.grainstove.com

When I ask people these days if they'd like some hot air, they just look at me.

Hope you're enjoying summer. Good time to build a corn stove - if it's a good one.

I have been researching grain stoves for a long time now. I have tried to become a dealer with grainstoves but there was already someone to close so they wouldn't let me. My father owns his own welding and fabricating shop and we are interested in building our own. He already has one but I need one in my house and none that I have seen impress me much. If you find any plans for building PLEASE let me know.
