I hate to do this, but...

I have a "What was that song" question. Sorry, sorry, sorry! LOL Anyway, I've been hanging out in TNT ER rerun land, and have heard the same piece of music in three epis. First I heard it when Carol, Bob, Doug, etc. were stealing their crash cart back from cardiology (?). Then again when Loretta Sweet's kids were running around the ER with the video camera. Then again this morning when Carol saw the kangaroo in the alley. It seems like I heard it in one other epi, but I can't remember what at the moment. Does this piece of music have a name? TIA Rubi

I'm not sure of the name, it's not on the soundtrack, but it seems that is the music they play whenever something fishy is going on. They also play it in "The Fastest Year" when Edgar is hiding from Kerry.

Or as Sars/Wing Chun at MBTV would have it, "The Music of Overly Mannered Wackiness."

I love that music too! They use it every now and then... It sounds like a sneaky cat.

And then there's what I call the "bad diagnosis" music...one long, low note that usually means something terrible is about to happen. Like when it dawned on Carter and Chen that the little boy had measles. Know what I mean?

What I really miss is the punchy percussion that usually leads to the opening credits.......it used to go: zippy one-liner, BA BA BA.....then the pefunctory "de da de da" then the piano's "di di da da....di di da da...." Ya know what I mean???
