How to order and deal with Casoli?greenspun.com : LUSENET : MV Agusta F4 : One Thread |
Anyone tried ordering anything from Casoli and had any luck?I'm trying to order a tank guard for my machine, and am having NO luck at all.
Furthermore - I found a kit that will disable the side stand on my MV on www.drdesmo.com - but can't order from that site either. Crap.

You have to phone them, they're notoriously crap at answering emails.

Call or e-mail Phil Read (ReadRacing@aol.com). He responds promptly (via e-mail)and is very helpful. He also has a side stand converter and other aftermarket products for the F4.Mike

why do you need a "kit" to fix your stand? I have done that to my 916, 748 and F4s by changing one bolt.

Takie is right...save your money - al you have to do on the F4 is bend the 'C' shaped bracket on the stand further round it's stop. Works a treat and costs nothing! Im a mechanical idit and it took me five minutes...

Phil Read has never responded to my emails. I called Casoli directly at 011 44 2084496064 and spoke to David Miles (the owner). A really nice chap! We talked for over 15 minutes. I ordered the hugger and the tank guard. That was Wed 4/18 and I received the invoice today, Sat 4/21 in the mail. The goods were shipped UPS on Wed. I will repost when the goods arrive. BTW Manhatten Ducati is very expensive and does not stock much. It was seriouosly cheaper to order and ship directly from Casoli in England.
